The system uses proven methods of bagwork construction with innovative technology.

There are 3 main components:

• the GTX bags of non-woven geotextile material which is water permeable and retains fill material [BELOW]

• the Standard Unit is a plastic plate placed between bags providing an interlocking connection [BELOW]

• the Engineered Unit features hooks to provide positive mechanical connection to geogrid for backfill reinforcement [BELOW]

The diagram below shows typical incorporation of geogrid.
